Lindsey and Michael’s Ashton Gardens wedding day was simple, romantic, and just perfect! Their Corinth, Texas wedding day was so sweet – focusing on the two of them and those that mattered most to them. Every wedding I photograph means a lot to me, but something about Lindsey and Michael’s wedding day just stood out to me. No matter what happened, you could see how excited they were to finally be tying the knot!

Ashton Gardens Wedding

Ashton Gardens wound up being the perfect spot for Lindsey and Michael’s special day. Surrounded by lush greenery and trees, both the chapel and reception hall make you feel like you’re standing right in the middle of the woods. It’s private and secluded. It created a truly intimate and romantic atmosphere for Lindsey, Michael, and their guests. Their day started separately, and Lindsey and Michael chose to stick to a traditional route with no first look. Lindsey did have a sweet and emotional first look with her dad, but the first time Michael saw her was coming down the aisle. She looked so lovely too!! I still love the skirt of her wedding dress – so much movement!! It made my photographer heart happy!!

After a romantic ceremony, I stole Lindsey and Michael away for some romantic newlywed portraits around Ashton Gardens. The buildings are simply beautiful on the property and created a really elegant and grand effect for their wedding portraits together. The whole time they were just laughing and smiling – it was easy to feel happy along with them. Before long, I had to return them to kick off the reception!! Lots of dancing ensued along with some delicious cake, and to end the night, Lindsey and Michael had a private last dance without their guests around. It was beautiful!!
