Springtime Hotel Drover Wedding in Fort Worth, TX

Emily and Destin are married! This spring, Emily and Destin welcomed their family and friends to the beautiful Hotel Drover in Fort Worth, TX to tie the knot. I was excited to photograph their wedding day at this new hotel around the stockyards. From the minute Emily and Destin began to share their plans, I knew that their spring wedding day would be a beautiful and romantic affair! With an outdoor ceremony and hints of the history of Fort Worth sprinkled throughout the day, their wedding was truly a gorgeous celebration of them and the area they love.

Romantic Wedding at Hotel Drover

To kick off their wedding day, Emily and Destin prepared at the hotel before their outdoor ceremony on the lawn. Emily had a super sweet first look with her dad before one with Destin. His reaction to seeing his beautiful bride was SO sweet! They were both adorable and couldn’t stop smiling about how excited they were to be getting married. Emily’s off-the-shoulder gown was classic and dreamy!

The ceremony was held right near the hotel, under a clear tent with the most beautiful flowers everywhere you looked. Emily and Destin used peach, yellow, and white flowers to decorate the space and it was the perfect spring palette! I absolutely loved Emily’s bridesmaids’ gowns, they were an almost metallic pink – but super pretty in the space and with their florals!

After the ceremony, I got some quality time with the new Mr & Mrs as we found the prettiest spots around this new hotel for their portraits. Before long, it was time to head into the barn at the Hotel Drover for their reception! This space is really warm and welcoming. With more of their yellow and peach flowers lining the wooden tables, everything really came to life. During the reception, Emily and Destin got down to their Texas roots with cowboy hats – Emily’s even had some fun fur around the edge! She also changed into a chic party dress to dance and enjoy the night with her loved ones.
