Lifestyle Newborn Session | Baby Pierce

After Kailey’s stunning maternity session, I couldn’t wait for her baby boy to arrive!! When I got the message that Pierce had made his appearance, I was so ready to meet him. Luckily, it was only a few days before he came home and was ready for his photo debut! We planned a simple lifestyle newborn session in their Dallas, TX home to capture his first few days with mom and dad.

For his newborn session, we chose two areas of the house that worked best to tell this family’s story. We focused on his nursery, which is absolutely adorable!! It was just perfect with a jungle theme and neutrals throughout the space. And then, we also photographed this new family of three in his parents’ room. I seriously love Kailey’s style!!! Honestly, I think lifestyle sessions always inspire me to redecorate my own house, ha! Sweet Pierce was a joy during our session. He was content to snuggle with mom and dad and was even perfectly happy when we swaddled him for some individual portraits.

Lifestyle newborn sessions are always a great option for new families-  they’re so much less stressful than having to take your baby somewhere new. Plus, you receive portraits of your family at home in your own spaces, clothes, wraps, and so much more. There’s something really special about documenting what life looks like at home with your new bundle of joy!
