The French Farmhouse Proposal

Tanner and Brooke are engaged!! When Tanner reached out to me about capturing his proposal to Brooke, I was so excited. Capturing proposals is SUCH an exciting part of my job! Tanner chose to propose at the French Farmhouse. A new venue, The French Farmhouse is a gorgeous little property that’s now booking weddings! I was so excited for the chance to capture Tanner and Brooke’s engagement here. This beautiful property is covered in oak trees, has a covered bridge, and a lake – all about an hour north of Dallas. Seriously worth a look! Anyway, back to Tanner and Brooke…

The French Farmhouse Proposal

I waited for Tanner and Brooke to show at the bench Tanner had chosen for the special moment – and then they arrived! One thing I love about capturing proposals is seeing the sheer joy in the moment when you ask the person you love to be with you forever. Brooke was definitely surprised! And, overjoyed. Obviously she said yes – and they celebrated. Then, Tanner took Brooke up to see their families waiting at the farmhouse. That’s when the reality hit them both! They are officially engaged!!!! I LOVED watching their family celebrate and cheer for them. It was so special. What a great way to bring two families together!!
