Sally and Tom had the most gorgeous glamorous wedding at The Olana! Their family-focused wedding day was so beautiful from start to finish and I loved being a part of their stellar vendor team. Sally and Tom clearly love each other so much – and their wedding day was a reflection of that. Everything they chose added to the beauty of the property they chose to be married at. And throughout the day there were such gorgeous personalized touches for their travel-inspired wedding day! I can’t wait for you to see this Olana wedding day!

The Olana Wedding Day

The Olana is a gorgeous French-inspired estate in Hickory Creek, Texas. The 40 acre property is filled with elegant touches that bring any glamorous wedding day to life. It’s quickly become one of my favorite venues here in Texas! Both Sally and Tom had gorgeous private spaces to get ready for their wedding day. Tom even had a bowling alley and pool table. You know the guys had fun with those!! The Olana has some beautiful staircases that we used for Sally’s bridal portraits, and they might be some of my favorite portraits from the day!

Elegant Travel-Inspired Wedding Day

Sally and Tom had a first look with each other – and their families around them. It was an incredibly beautiful and special moment. And it reminded me that wedding days are all about YOU. If you want your first look to include your family, your parents, your children, then do it! Tom even had a first look with his daughters before Sally came to join them. I LOVE how much these two love their families!! After their first looks, it was time for their wedding ceremony. Sally and Tom tied the knot by a gorgeous archway inside. Their smiles definitely say it all! Following their ceremony, it was time to enjoy the property! We wandered around together to find the most perfect spots for their portraits as newlyweds! There is NO shortage of beautiful spots at the Olana for portraits!

I don’t think I’m the only one who enjoyed Tom and Sally’s reception, too! They had a great time dancing the night away with all of their guests. Their seating chart, decorations, and details were all travel inspired since the newlyweds enjoy traveling together. It was so much fun! Tom and Sally added to their fun reception with TWO cakes. A beautiful gold and ivory travel-inspired wedding cake and a fun Packers’ inspired groom’s cake for Tom. What a great way to add something really personalized to their day. With a beautiful sparkler send off, their wedding day came to an end.
