Relaxed Southlake Texas Engagement Session

Garret and Whitney had a beautiful and romantic Southlake Texas engagement session – I had so much fun with these two! The entire session, Garret kept Whitney laughing and it was very obvious how much they love being together. I don’t know if I’ve ever watched a couple laugh so much. Their whole session felt relaxed and like I was truly capturing two best friends.

Southlake Texas Engagement Session

We really wanted Garret and Whitney’s engagement session to feel very casual and relaxed. With simple and comfortable clothing choices, and by finding a few big shade providing trees, we managed just that. I wanted to really be able to focus on the two of them and how much they enjoy being together. Although I did pose Garret and Whitney, they didn’t need much instruction – they’re naturals! And they just look so natural wrapped in each other’s arms. At least I think so! Engagement sessions should always be like that: a relaxed celebration of your upcoming wedding day. They should be a break from your wedding planning and a chance to just document this special time in your lives together. Have a good time and enjoy the time together!!

Leaving their session, I already couldn’t wait for their Nest at Ruth Farms wedding, which will be the next time I see them both. If it’s anything like their engagement session, it will be a ton of fun and simply breathtaking! I can’t wait to watch them tie the knot and make everything official!
