I’m so happy I got to see Nicole and Kenneth again to celebrate their baby girl’s impending arrival! After photographing their pregnancy announcement (which you can see here!), we waited until Nicole’s beautiful baby bump was showing to schedule their maternity session. She and Kenneth had a beautiful Dallas Arboretum maternity session. We lucked out with a gorgeous day and the Arboretum was perfectly in bloom – couldn’t ask for more! The Arboretum was perfect because it provided us with some great variety in locations.
Being a fashion blogger, we knew Nicole would pick a great outfit to wear for her session and she did not disappoint! She chose a PinkBlush Maternity gown and it was absolutely beautiful on her! A simple but sleek gown like Nicole chose is always a great choice for a maternity session. It’s moveable, breathable and shows off your belly, which is the whole point of maternity portraits! This gorgeous gown was perfect at the Arboretum – the white helped Nicole stand out against the gorgeous backgrounds we chose. Nicole really was glowing! These two are so excited to be parents…and… What’s even more exciting about sharing these portraits now is that Tatum was born in February! Nicole and Kenneth actually welcomed their sweet girl on February 17th! I know this new family is so happy to finally be together!
If you’re thinking about booking maternity portraits, it’s best to do so between 28 and 32 weeks. That’s generally a good time for your bump to look perfect in portraits while you’re still comfortable enough to handle walking, posing, and smiling in the session. I want you mamas to feel beautiful during your maternity portraits! If you’re expecting, send me a note here so we can start planning your maternity session!!
